Project-based state aid will be given to Eti Aluminum's production facility investment

The decision regarding the investment in the hot and/or cold rolled aluminum flat product production facility with the direct cooling slab casting method to be made in Konya has been published in the Official Gazette.

Project-based state aid will be given to the investment in the hot and/or cold rolled aluminum flat product production facility with the direct cooling slab casting method to be made by Eti Aluminum AŞ in Konya.

The decision of the Presidency on the subject was published in the Official Gazette.

According to the decision, the projected fixed investment amount of the project, whose start date is December 1, 2022, will be 3 billion 10 million 545 thousand 522 TL.

If the project, whose duration of investment is determined as 5 years from the start date, cannot be realized within the stipulated time, an additional period of half of this period may be granted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

The additional employment envisaged by the project was determined as 285, and the envisaged number of qualified personnel was determined as 45.

At the end of the investment period, it is foreseen to produce hot and/or cold rolled aluminum flat products with the direct cooled slab casting method of 100 thousand tons/year.

Support for investment, customs duty exemption, VAT exemption, VAT refund, tax reduction (tax discount rate: 100%, investment contribution rate 85%, investment contribution amount that can be used in the investment period 100%), insurance premium employer share support (maximum amount limit 10 years (without employment)), qualified personnel support (maximum 75.000.000 TL), energy support (50% of energy consumption expenditures, not to exceed 200.000.000 TL up to 10 years from the date of transition to operation).
